THE ERIKA & ALEX ORBISON GUIDE TO NASHVILLE
In case you decide to come in early or stay late, here is a short (incomplete) list of some of our favorite things to see and do.
MUSEUMS & EXHIBITS
Johnny Cash Museum
We will be offering complimentary entrance to the Johnny Cash Museum. Just mention "Wolf/Orbison" at the cashier, and you'll be good to go! Check out the Sun Records Exhibit which includes Roy Orbison!
Country Music Hall of Fame
Musician's Hall of Fame ** You can check out Roy's exhibit!
MUSIC & HONKY TONKS
416 Broadway B, Nashville, TN 37203 (walking distance from hotel)
The world’s greatest honky tonk – ok, ok.. Alex and my favorite honky tonk. It always has the best music and a great crowd. If you’re luck old man Billy will ask you to dance. Always tip the band! If you can catch the Don Kelley Band and Sarah Gayle Meech, do it.
I hear Nudie's and the Stage is also good!
Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar
Down pedestrian and historic Printer's Alley, the Blues bar is your joint if you want to catch some of the best blues in all of Nashville.
Ryman Auditorium
(walking distance from hotel)
For those real country music aficionados, catch a show or take a tour of the Ryman. It’s the real deal church of country music.
This legendary café, featured in the hit - show Nashville, is a place people come to see songwriters perform their songs “in-the-round”, meaning one song at a time taking turns in a circle. I have not done this yet, but people love it.
Nightlife & Bars
This is arguably one of our favorite places in Nashville - a triple wide trailor where you can order two beers for the price of two beers. Its karaoke and a damn good time. Heads up - they can still smoke inside here.

SHOPPING
4604 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216
Nikki Lane’s vintage clothing and home goods store. She travels the world for a living, stopping at antique malls on the side of the highway, cherry-picking her favorite items, all of which have ended right here in Nashville. Go find your souvenir!
2302 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204
My favorite vintage shop on this side of town.
100 Powell Pl #200, Nashville, TN 37204
Great antique mall with over 200 vendors in town.
FOOD STUFFS
The worlds greatest pancakes on earth. I'm serious. The santa fe corn cake whatever the hell that is.... Do it. Heads up, in prime hours the line can get long. It's right off Vanderbilt campus so watch out for that line - it moves fairly quickly if you decide to do it.
Bella Pizza at the Farmer's Market
900 Rosa L Parks Blvd, Nashville, TN 37208
BEST. PIZZA. EVER. Neapolitan-style, wood-oven-baked pizzas with local, seasonal toppings at the Farmers Market. Sit at the counter and watch it go down, or plenty of seating in the farmers market.
112 19th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203
Hot chicken is a Nashville staple. It’s spicy fried chicken and its DANG good. It comes on a slice of Texas Toast, and make sure to get the banana pudding after. Gives Magnolia a run for it’s money. I like it mild, but Alex likes it “Shut the Cluck Up” hot. BEWARE!
If you go around dinner time, get in line early!
Arnold's Country Kitchen
Arnold's is Nashville's greatest meat-n-three. A meat-n-three is a southern meal where you choose a meat and three sides. It's served cafeteria style and is only open weekdays from 10:30am - 2:45pm.

This zagat rated family style restaurant is set inside an amazing old house, touted as Best Brunch in Tennessee. It's a real southern experience.
Yummy sandwich shop on the east side.
I can't say enough about Proper Bagel. First of all, it's one of my favorite places in Nashville because it makes me feel like home, like Russ & Daughters found it's way to Nashville. The owners are AMAZING. The food is GREAT. If your itching for lox and bagels, or bagel sandwiches, whitefish, or any variety of schmear, get yourself to Proper. x
BONUS
